Our founder's story
It started long before Speech Bees.
Our founder grew up in Texas and went to UT Dallas.
Along the way came more than 100 hours of volunteering with students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Those hours made one thing clear: when a child finds their words, everything around them opens up.
Speech Bees grew from that belief. Faith is part of the story too: our founder is a born-again Christian, and that shapes how we care for every family who trusts us with their child.

Speech therapy works best in person, so a Speech Bee comes to your home. Stuttering is the only service we offer online.

Why we only offer stuttering therapy online
Plenty of companies put every kind of speech therapy on a screen. We don't. We believe speech therapy should be hands-on, so articulation, language, and apraxia therapy happen in person. Stuttering therapy works well over video, so it's the one service we offer both ways. That's how we protect the quality of your child's care.
